Growing up in a family that believed in values & efforts as the route to progress, Vittal Rajan had been exposed to working part time right from his school days to support the family business. Starting his career with Bharat Logistics (then Bharat Shipping) he studied in the famous RKM Vivekananda Evening College & gained a Commerce degree. He also strengthened his industry credentials by qualifying in the Customs Broker examination conducted by Indian Customs and Basic/DG Cargo handling Diplomas from IATA Geneva.
He has over 28 years experience in International Logistics, global trade compliance, Supply chain solutions, Global Network & business development. He is passionate about delivering high quality logistics solutions to customers, leveraging human potential and offering seamless global movement of cargo by developing close cooperation with our overseas partners. Vittal Rajan is a Rotarian with a keen interest in community development and served Rotary Club of Adyar as its President during year 2007-08. He has interests in organic farming and is an avid runner.
Having grown up as the last child of the family, Sankar had been exposed to the family businesses from young age. He completed his Commerce degree with RKM Vivekananda evening college while pursuing the Chartered Accountancy course during daytime. Pursuing his Articleship with S Venkatram & Co, he acquired his basics in Accounting standards & Audit practice thereafter obtained Fellowship in Chartered Accountancy. He joined Bharat Logistics (then Bharat Shipping) in 1998 to head the Finance, Accounting functions & legal compliance.
Thereafter developing a keen interest in International Logistics, Sankar qualified with IATA Basic & DG cargo handling Diplomas for air transportation. He qualified as a Customs Broker with the Indian Customs and led the operation team with focus on Operational efficiency & regulatory compliance. He handled the key projects like ISO Quality system implementation and the process requirements of AEO. Sankar helps in management of the family’s charitable educational institutionsand is a Rotarian . With core beliefs in fairness & stakeholder wellbeing, his is interests are in the fields of philosophy, values & heritage.
Natarajan acquired his graduation from AM Jain College and started his career as an executive with Tractors & Farm Equipment Ltd, a global leader in tractor manufacturing. He strengthened his technical credentials by acquiring post graduate diploma in materials management and Green Belt training in Six Sigma Quality Management Systems. He was part and led the Supply Chain Team in procurement and vendor development for over 26 years with leading automobile companies and recently in the field of Logistics and Business Development.
With a hands on expertise in SAP Materials Module, he has played a leading role in ERP implementation. Actively involved in Quality Circle movement, winning many awards at CII’s State and National level forums he is very passionate about delivering top notch service delivery quality to customers & other stakeholders by developing close cooperation with them. Natarajan is a very keen follower of sports and has actively represented 3rd & 4th division cricket teams in various leading tournaments and has also represented his company’s cricket teams at various levels.
